boca juniors vs ac milan (fifa Club World Cup Final)

so..the great week in football is finally over...the night started with the fifa cwc final..i was lookin forward to this becoz a european team has never won this ever since the name changed..i quickly took my spot in the recliner with the exact same clothes i wore on the night milan beat LIVERPOOL!!!...hahhaa..take that sean..the same shirt...pants..hell, even undies...call me superstitious..but it works..hahaha..

anyways..on to the game..the first 20 minutes were borin..milan tried to do their catenaccio(tight defending) against a team that hardly attacked..no one had the ball for more than 3 minutes...the defending was so tight that kaka only had 1 shot..which was pretty bad..as soon as he got the ball....BAM!!two guys were on him..amazing eh??luckily, milan soaked up the pressure and attacked quickly, kaka able to make a run that ended with a pass to inzaghi which was inch perfect..thru the legs and straight shot..GOAL!!...that din reli get me off the seat but it was a goal...

kick-off...and boca mangaed to get a corner...they took it quick and while milan were busy talkin abt maldini retiring...hahaha..they scored..a header by palacio..bad defendin..almost no defending at all..hahhaa...palacio made darting runs for the next 20 minutes..milan barely able to get into the final third..the whistle came and i was relieved..much like the ucl final..but i knew ancelotti had smth up his sleeve..hopefully he would take maldini off who was reli bad..everyone was tryin to pass it to him even when he was far away from the ball...

2nd half...the nigllin fouls cntinued..ambrosini tryin hard..winnin all the balls in the middle...tryin to outplay everyone..palacio runnin more..boca looked like scorin..only to let their rlei bad finishing down..nesta scored at the other end with a good volley...and 2-1 it was...boca tried harder..and when palacio missed a reli good chance to score..from 6 yards out..only to blast wide..it was depressing..what was more depressing was that milan quickly scored frm the counter..teh look on palacios face was teriible..i know how it feels like to miss a good chance and only for the other team to score..that reli sucks..but..boca tried to fight their way back..unfortunately it wasnt to be..inzaghi got another goal after kakas run..and the final nail was in the coffin...

then madness began..kaladze got sent off for stamping on a players foot..milan conceded an own goal from ambrosini..which was reli sad..and boca had a Pablo Ledesma sent off for a rash tackle on kaka..the final whistle blew..and the milan camp were absolutely mad...they hugged and cheered as boca just cried..in the end it was just difference between experience and inexperience..milan were able to control the game..put boca to sleep with their slow tempo and have kaka make all the runs...

i thnk ancelotti's moves in this game were crucial..he put faith in maldini..benchin cafu who was playin well in the competition..he trusted maldini..and he din disappoint..(his second half) performace was great..but credit to boca..they tried..and tried..but still...inexperience cost them....
