I haven't been Blogging for a bit, Mostly due to constant procrastination and a lack of inspiration, but here are a few things that've happened in the past month.
Damai Puri Trip
Our Youth organized a trip to Damai Puri on the 20th of March, and.. i can't seem to recall what happened on the day. yeah. ONE month ago. i have SHORTNESS memory. All i remember is having cheesecake and kolo mee by the shore, and many many sandballs flying around. then the rain started pouring. We tried (and failed miserably) to make sandcastles in the rain, so we resorted to swimming in the sea but SOME people just couldn't stop shoving sand down other's pants. Hmmmm...
Some Pics that were taken on the day

How the hell can Ed stay so nonchalant with sam trying to kiss him??
Albeit having all our belongings soaked by the rain, i'd have to say the trip was REAALY FUN!(from what i remember lahh) =P
Youth Sunday

I led Praise and Worship for Sunday Service for the 1st time, and BOY was i nervous. Although the songs we sang were familiar, the surroundings on the day definitely were NOT. But praise the Lord, everything turned out fine. After worship,Tiff, Beatrice and Evelyn gave the audience a preview of the dance they'd be performing on True Love Waits, and Bryan gave a speech on MYF. Then, after service,we all had Italian Buffet prepared by the aunties.Really really good food=)

Last but not least, A big thank you to Jeremy for talking to me and unbundling my bundle of nerves before sunday morn. =)
Swinburne Interschool Debate Competition
GRSS sent a relatively new team this year, with everyone being 1st timers besides Julie and Kay. Pre-comp Prep was minimal, with gatherings at the school library resulting in us being kicked out. While our last minute scramble to copy each others points at ida's place turned out to be more of a ball-humping-coke-drinking-guitar-playing session. heh. Thankyoo idaaa. But we did learn a tremendous amount of Info on Imperialism from Ida's dad. Thankyoo unclee.=)
So on the day of the comp, we were pretty nervous (well, i was lah). Evan was just unnaturally calm though.. Well we got through the Prelims with a 4-1 record. The loss coming from the match against Samuel's team. Evan and I were talking before the match, and suddenly came to a realization that we've both NEVER EVER beaten Samuel. Somehow. Put together, we've matched-up with Samuel's team a total of 6 times. And our record against him-
0-6
!@#$
After the verdict was announced, we were just.utterly.dumbfounded. We lost. AGAIN!
Our new record against Sam-
0-7
Yeah, i know. not something to be proud of, so i have no idea why i'm posting this.
But....
Thank Goodness!! we made it through to the quarters!!=)
then we lost again.
Yeah.
Well at least Nazreen offered to share his loser's sweater with me. =D =D

Nono, its not this one. Thats his Ghey sweater. I don't have a pic of the Emo sweater
I don't know why, but after our loss, Evan started rambling about how he was the Image of our team. The essence. THE WIND BENEATH OUR WINGS!
Here are some parts of our convo
Convo 1
Evan: Eh sean, u know, i'm like the IMAGE of our team lah!
Sean:Shaddap La Yoo!
Evan:Deduhh! i AM! Lemme give you a simple anology..We Function like a Body. Now as second Speaker, i'm Right in the Middle, and when people see our team, they see me 1st. Thus, I'm the Face, the Image.
Sean:Okay fine, Me n Kay leh?
Evan:Urh...you guys can be the boobs and the Butt lah
Sean: *STRANGGLLESS HIM*
Convo 2
Evan: Okay, i give u a less sexual example. WE ARE ARSENAL.
Sean: Yeah. sure.Whatever.
Evan: No Serious, put it this way,I'm like FABREGAS! The superstarrr! The IMAGEE!
Sean: HOW ABOUT KAY AND I!?
Evan: i dunno, er...gilberto and Lehman lor...anything la.
Sean: %@#$ u lah!!
Evan: Its true lah, i'm The playmaker, the Cornerstone of our success!!
Sean: Hmm, well that explains alot- Like how we lost in the quarterfinals, JUST LIKE ARSENAL DID!!!
Evan: ...
Moving on, I got to witness the senior finals, and BOY was it a close match. The two teams(Lodge A and Green Road B) were very evenly matched, with no team having the clear advantage.I won't go into the details of the match (i kinda don't remember) but in the end, Lodge came away with the victory, and got to take the Trophy home after winning it for the 3rd time.
Congratulations to Lodge A(senior champs), and Green Road B(runners-up), Green Road C(Junior champs). And also to Ju, Sam (both sams =P), Ida, Karen and Hannah for winning best speaker awards.
P.s. A big Thankuu to Ida, Ju, and Kay for teaching me all that i know. And to DJ, Sam, Karen, Hannah,Arianne,Arlene, n Nazreen for making this competition such a fun one! and to Dan, for the prayers=)
Last but not least, Thanks to EVAN FOR BEING THE WIND BENEATH MY WINGS!

NST WORKSHOP
Bong, Julie, Peiyi and I skipped school on Saturday to attend a workshop on global climate change at Merdeka Palace. But in fact, we didn't know what was in store for us. Turned out that besides learning about global climate change, we were required to write an article for NST after interviewing a teacher about the topic. The task proved to be...quite a challenge, due to some unforeseen distractions.=D

Our ultra-kiasu Group:Green Peace.
From left:Me, Emmanuel, Peiyi, Joel, Julie, Kelvin, Priscilla and Leo

But the highlight of the day was definitely Lunch at Beccari's. Bong and I Stuffed ourselves with italian food to the point where moving became almost painful. With all that food in our tummies, coupled with the fact that it was post-lunch nap time for both of us,we were struggling to keep awake when the afternoon talk started.
Bong came up with this to keep himself from dozing off.

Product of extreme boredom
All the fun aside, the Workshop really showed us how serious a problem global climate change is now, and the scary things(like the whole of Singapore being submerged) that are going to happen if it isn't put to a stop. We also learned tips on Journalism and how to write a basic article for a newspaper. All in all, i had a great time.
THERE! Done!!
A month's worth of blogging all crammed into ONE POST. Sorry if my recollections of past events were vague and/or uninformative. Cant help it.Short memory span.
*tq to Julie, Bong and Ida for allowing me to steal Pics from ur sites
SEAN.
(greg, are u ever gonna post anymore?)
